Smart 7 Management Limited, subsidiary of SIEC Group, has now acquired land for the provision of housing in Saggart, County Dublin. With an investment of €10 million, the project includes 28 units.
Why Saggart?
Saggart is a village in rural county Dublin, just 45-minutes on the Luas red line to Dublin city. With the rising housing prices in the city, property in quieter villages within commutable distance have become highly desirable.
Expanding housing to the city’s surrounding areas is an important initiative needed to address Dublin’s growing population, while breathing new life into the wider county. Current housing demand is at historic levels and the Dublin area is especially affected by the shortage, making the surrounding region ripe for further development.
What’s the Plan?
The property is approximately 0.36 hectares and is situated at the junction of Main Street and Boherby Road in the heart of Saggart Village. As well as the 28 housing units, the project is made up of a 263 square meter retail unit and a 100 square meter office space. The residential unit types include 1 single bedroom apartment, 10 double bedroom duplex units, 6 double bedroom apartments, 10 triple bedroom duplex units and 1 triple bedroom house. The project also includes the provision of 28 surface car parking spaces.
