Athy Development Project
Athy Development Project
Prosper Management Limited, fully owned subsidiary of SIEC Group, is financing the construction of 87 housing units in Athy, County Kildare. The land was procured for the provision of housing in February 2020, with PML having receiving planning permission from the local government. As of September
2024, the first phase of the project is well under way with 35 units having been constructed to near roof level and foundations laid for the 10 remaining initial units.

Why Athy?
Athy is a densely populated town in southern County Kildare, located on the River Barrow and less than 50 miles from Dublin. The town area provides convenient access to Kildare Outlet Shopping Village, Dublin Airport and Seaport.
Athy's is a commercial and business hub and a major area of growth in County Kildare. Starting in the 1990s and 2000s, the town began to grow rapidly as expanding infrastructure provided easier access to Dublin City, making it a hub for commuters.
What's the Plan?
The project is in the Coneyboro residential area, south of the Athy town centre. The area is directly accessible via the R417 road through the Coneyboro Estate, an established residential area which will be expanded by the project.
Supporting the 87 villa-type residential units, the project includes the construction of drainage, street lighting, landscaping, boundary treatment and site engineering construction.
